Education Resources

Many adult students enroll in a college or occupational school to earn degrees, receive advanced training, and learn new trades. Whether you’re considering continuing your education or are already enrolled in a program, view a variety of resources that can assist you as you pursue your educational goals

The PA Adult Education Resources site provides an interactive map for you to search programs in your community. You can search for programs that teach high school equivalence exam preparation or language classes that teach English as a second language. Both programs are funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

GED & School Credentials

Receiving a Commonwealth Secondary School Diploma (CSSD), a General Educational Development (GED®) or High School Equivalency Test (HiSET) can help put you on the path to a good career.

For information about the GED® Test including how to prepare and find a test center, as well as the test costs, testing accommodations and registering for the test, visit the GED website.

For information about the HiSET® test including preparing for the test, finding a test center in your area, test costs, testing accommodations and registering for the test, visit the HiSET website.
